Flatbread Pinwheel 3 types suitable for lunch

We love the lazy days of summer, but also look forward to school days, which force us to set schedules and bring a little order to our lives. As we prepared for the start of school, I started thinking about the idea of ââhaving lunch for the kids. We always bring our own lunch and only allow kids to buy lunch at school on special occasions. We know kids get bored with sandwiches every day, so we thought we’d come up with more ideas that are delicious and easy. That’s when I came up with the idea to make Flatbread Wrap Bites.
I’d love to be able to make a flatbread wrapper and cut it into pinwheels to add to my kids’ lunches. On days when I have more time, I can make a variety of burritos, chop them up, and mix and match burritos for each kid’s lunch. Perfect, right? ! That way they get a variety of delicious, fresh mini packs and I only need to make a pack or two a day. Now, that’s what I call Mom Win! đ
These flatbread burritos are super easy to make and come in so many varieties. Kids’ favorites include ham and swiss, chicken cheddar, and pepperoni pizza. Other varieties I’d love to try are ham and cheddar, turkey and cheese, peanut butter and jelly – really, the options are endless. I make these wraps with Flatout Flatbread because they are delicious, nutritious, and loved by kids. They also have several varieties, allowing for more packaging options.

For these special packages, we used Flatout Light Original and included the following ingredients in each package:
- Ham and Switzerland – add mayonnaise
- Chicken, Cheddar and Lettuce -Add mayonnaise and mustard
- pepperoni â Add mozzarella slices and pizza sauce
roll. Assemble the desired ingredients on the loaf and roll into a package starting from the short side of the loaf.
cut. Use a toothpick to hold the wraps together, then use a serrated knife to cut into pinwheels (at least 1.5 inches thick) for best results. Serve cold.

Tips + Variations
The easiest way to roll paper For a windmill, it’s all about laying out all the ingredients as shown, then approaching from one side and rolling them tightly together. Start small and press the rolls together as you roll. When you’re done, cut off the ends on both sides and cut the remaining roll into about an inch pieces for your little pinwheel.

Make some types ahead of time. I don’t recommend making any recipes that include juicy vegetables as the extra liquid will most likely make the wraps soggy and gross. The most “early” time I make these is the morning before the kids take them to school.
