Who makes fast food here?

I wish I could say that we did not, but we might go once a week because of a busy schedule or just because this mother didn’t want to eat that night (just to be honest here). 😉

Some places we like more than others, but the biggest problem I have is making sure I can get something healthy. I know I know. Fast food is not really considered “healthy”, but I am here to tell you other things. Most fast food chains now understand that some people are trying to eat healthier and offer “light” options on the menu. I am very grateful for this, because although I really like junior bacon cheeseburgers, fries and frosting, I know I shouldn’t eat them often. 😉 With this in mind, I have compiled a list for you, listing some of my favorite fast food menu items under 300 calories. I know I will use this list next time we buy fast food to make sure my food choices are better. 😉

Chick-Fil-A:

12 Count Grilled Chicken Nuggets – 200 calories

Grilled Market Salad – 200 calories

Big Breast Chicken Soup – 270 calories

Side dish salad – 80 calories

Wendy’s:

Asian Cashew Chicken Salad Half Size – 230 calories

BBQ Ranch Chicken Salad Half-300 Calories

Regular Baked Potatoes – 270 calories

Big and succulent chili – 250 calories

Value Natural Cut Fry – 220 calories

6 chicken nuggets – 260 calories

Little Burger – 260 calories

Grilled Chicken Roll – 270 calories

McDonald’s:

Hamburger-240 calories

Cheeseburger – 290 calories

Grilled Ranch Snack Roll-290 Calories

Premium Bacon Ranch Salad with Grilled Chicken – 260 calories

Fruit and yogurt parfait-150 calories

Small French Fries – 230 calories

Taco Bell:

Sturdy Mini Quesadillas – 210 calories

Cheese Roll – 180 calories

Spicy Potato Soft Tacos – 250 calories

Spicy Tacos – 200 calories

Chipotle Crispy Chicken Griller – 290 calories

Double Tostada – 270 calories

Mural chicken or grilled steak soft tacos – 140 to 150 calories

Fresco Soft Taco – 160 calories

Mango BBQ Crispy Roast Chicken – 240 calories

Gordita Supreme (chicken, steak or beef)-270 to 290 calories

MexiMelt – 250 calories

Any taco (minus the double taco;))-140 to 250 calories

Now, these are just from our 4 favorite fast food chains, and as you can see, there are many choices!

At least there are more options than I thought. 😉
