How to Make Pulled Bread
cut. Cutting the bread is the hardest part of this recipe…and it’s not that hard either. Just grab a bread cutter and cut 1-inch slices across the bread. Make sure not to cut the bottom of the loaf! Stop cutting when you are about 1 inch from the bottom. Repeat the 1-inch cut in the opposite direction. That’s it!
You’ve got your bread ready to fill with all the cheese and other delicious ingredients.

But it will keep all the heat and make the cheese melt well. Toast for about 15 minutes.

- 1 pound round sourdough bread, unsliced
- 1 pound Monterey Jack cheese
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 2-3 teaspoons poppy seeds
- 1/2 cup scallions chopped
Preheat oven to 350°.
Cut loaves width wise to 1 inch. Slice 1 inch from bottom of loaf. Repeat the cut in the opposite direction. Cut Monterey Jack cheese into cubes.
Mix melted butter and poppy seeds and drizzle over bread.
Cover the bread with foil and place on a baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes, until cheese is melted. Garnish with green onions.
