Crockport Breakfast Casserole Hot Potatoes and Sausage

Slow cooker breakfast
The Crockport recipe may be my best friend. Is there anything better than throwing everything into a pot, opening it, and walking away? No.
Have you ever made breakfast casseroles in a slow cooker? We have not done this until recently and we are very excited, it is simple and delicious.
This recipe requires cheese, hash browns, eggs, milk, chopped sausage-all the best breakfast flavors are combined in a great meal! This simple casserole is ready in minutes and is perfect for any breakfast, brunch or holiday.
How to make a Crockport breakfast casserole
Floor. First put half of the frozen potatoes, half of the bacon or sausage, and 1 cup of shredded cheese in a greased crock. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
Repeat these layers again. Spread the remaining 1 cup of shredded cheese evenly on top of all ingredients.
Cook. Close the lid and cook on low heat for 7 to 8 hours. You can also cook it at high temperature for 3-4 hours, depending on when you need to eat it. After completion, the eggs should be placed and cooked thoroughly.

This can be made in the oven. Put all the ingredients in a 9×13 baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. The eggs should be cooked after they are baked.

Shop Place the remaining breakfast casserole in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It should last 3-4 days!
freeze Any leftover cooked breakfast casserole. Put it in a freezer-safe container and it will last for 2-3 months.

- 1 dozen eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 32 oz.Packed frozen potatoes
- 1 9.6 oz. Bag of chopped sausage (or bacon)
- 2 cups cheddar cheese (or Colby Jack)
- Salt and pepper
- 1/2 cup diced onion (optional)
Put half of the frozen potatoes, half of the bacon or sausage, and 1 cup of shredded cheese in a greased crock, then sprinkle with salt and pepper. Repeat these layers again.

Beat the eggs and milk together. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the cheese in the crock pot.
Cook for 7 to 8 hours on low (or 3-4 hours on high) or until the eggs are set and thoroughly cooked.
