You all know how much I like desserts, especially biscuits. Well, the next recipe is one of the children’s favorites for the following reason: they are the ones who came up with this recipe! They are called biscuits and butter biscuits.
Back when my two eldest children were 3 and 5 years old, they always begged to help me cook and do crafts. Well, my daughter said she wanted to bake and add some secret ingredients to our classic chocolate chip cookie recipe. This is what she ultimately created.
To be honest, I didn’t fully accept this combination of ingredients at first, but what’s interesting is that the cookies are actually very delicious!
I think Oreo will never go wrong. đThey match perfectly with the white chocolate chips, bringing a delicious biscuit and creamy flavor.
How to make cookies and butter cookies
This cookie recipe is very simple!
Dough. Cream butter, oil and sugar. Add eggs and beat until fluffy. Add the remaining ingredients.
bake. Use a biscuit spoon on the greased biscuit chip. Bake at 350 degrees for 7-8 minutes. (notes: Smaller biscuits can bake for 5-7 minutes. Larger biscuits can bake for 8-10 minutes. )
Variety
- Oreo: You can use Golden Oreos instead of ordinary ones. You should not remove the cream before crushing.
- Chew: Adjust the amount of sugar to make them more chewy. Use œ cup white sugar + 1 œ cup brown sugar.
- Crispy: To make crispy cookies, you can try baking the cookies at a lower temperature for longer, or use white sugar instead of brown sugar.
Storage tips
Dough: The dough can be made 1-2 days in advance and stored, covered, in the refrigerator. You can also scoop the dough into balls and freeze them. After freezing, put them in the freezer zip lock. Freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw before baking.
To bake cookies: After the biscuits have cooled, store them in an airtight container for 3-4 days. Putting a slice of white bread in a container with biscuits can help them maintain their softness for a longer period of time.
