Avocado Lime Ranch Dip-Quick + Easy

It only takes a few ingredients and a few minutes to make some creamy and delicious avocado lime ranch dip! Filled with cilantro, lime juice and avocado, this ranch dip is perfect for dipping fries or Mexican dishes!

If you have tried our Cafe Rio cottage condiment, you will know how delicious the flavors of coriander, lime and ranch blend together. This dipping sauce is like a thicker version of that seasoning-it tastes just as great on tacos, tacos and nachos!

Avocado Ranch Dip

I like dipping sauce. Really, it’s almost impossible for me to have no French fries or any appetizers. Are you by my side? My kids may also be a little obsessed (especially if it’s ranch or ketchup).

In the past few years, they have also become obsessed with the Cafe Rio Ranch Dressing recipe that we have been making with Mexican food and quesadillas. This is our favorite! !

When I saw Betty Crocker’s Avocado Lime Ranch Dip Recipe, I knew I had to try it. It’s thicker than the Rio cafĂ© dressing, but it tastes delicious, can be dipped in nachos well, and can be used as a delicious topping for any and all Mexican food.

If you like avocado, coriander and sour cream, you definitely want to save this recipe. Adding avocado (rather than adding any milk) makes this ranch dip thicker and creamier than the Rio Cafe Ranch sauce. It also has the most perfect lime flavor!

6 kinds of materials are required:

This avocado lime ranch dip requires only 6 ingredients in total! :

  • avocado
  • sour cream
  • Mayo
  • garlic
  • coriander
  • Lime juice

All you have to do is to scoop the avocado out of the skin (I usually cut it in half lengthwise, then scoop the core with a spoon, and then scoop out the inside of the avocado) and put it in a food processor or blender.

Then, add the remaining five ingredients and mix until everything is mixed together. That’s it! Literally, it only takes a few minutes. Just put it in the refrigerator until you are ready to eat it, enjoy it!

Be lighter: I know that sour cream and mayonnaise can be heavy sometimes. Therefore, if you want to make things easier, you can always use the same amount of fat-free sour cream or Greek yogurt. It will slightly change the consistency and taste, but it will still be delicious!

Refine: If you want the dipping sauce to be slightly thinner, you can add milk or olive oil to the blender/food processor, 1-2 tablespoons each time. Just keep adding until the desired consistency is achieved.

Storage skills

Advance/Storage: I only did this soaking a few hours before using it in any gathering/party. As long as you cover it and put it in the refrigerator, it should be fine! Don’t leave it at room temperature for too long.

We cook Mexican food at least once a week, so you know I will make a ton of these things! !
