We like Asian food, so this honey garlic chicken won our praise. Usually, we use chicken breasts for chicken dinners, but I strongly recommend using chicken thighs! The black meat is juicy and delicious, and the skin (completely optional) becomes so sticky and delicious after being cooked in the sauce.
We put it on white rice, but you can also put it on salad or fried noodles. No matter how you eat it, it is a simple recipe, delicious, and the perfect way to convert classic roast chicken or roast chicken.
I like that my meat is spicy, so if you are like me, you can double the marinade recipe. If you want to add scallions, mix them with the marinade in the plastic bag. If you want, you can also sprinkle the sesame seeds on the chicken after it comes out of the oven.
Although it was grilled this time, I think we will try to grill it next time, and the marinating time will be longer. 😉
