My name is Kristen, I’m the mom of six stinky cute kids and the wife of my hot old Lo. My mom’s maiden name is Luna, and I’m one of the many crafty “Lil’ Lunas” in the family. I’ve been creating since I was a kid, and I want to thank Luna’s side. They taught me how to think outside the box, cook, bake, and how to make my house home. Getting married and having my first real “home” made me realize how much I love to create in and out of the kitchen and in every room. It took me to a new level of happiness and with it came a new passion for making anything.

After being involved in countless boutiques selling crafts, home decor and baked goods, I decided to start this blog after the birth of my second child. I’ve never read a non-family blog before, but I’m often asked for recipes or how to make them and I think blogging is a great way to share them. Seven years later, four extra kids, three moves and countless family and business adventures, I’m still sharing ideas on the site and fortunate enough to have turned this blog into a thriving business.

My life is crazy, despite my best efforts. With 6 kids, anything I do has to be relatively simple and fast. I’m trying to share some inspiration that can help people whose lives are busier than they’d like to be. My mom and sisters call us “Luna” tics. My favorite thing in the world is hearing that what I’m able to share has helped others, whether it’s with a great idea or a new favorite recipe.
