Vegetarian Food Festival will debut at Expo 2020 Dubai
Expo 2020 Dubai and Vegan Days jointly launch the first vegetarian festival in the Middle East
Mark your calendar as January Vegetarian Festival, which is scheduled to take place over three weekends, from January 14th to 30th, Friday to Sunday.
Expo 2020 Dubai will host a unique gourmet event at the Festival Garden, bringing together a variety of plant-based food brands from all over the world. You can also experience the moving lineup of beats played by DJs during the day and night.
Expect to encounter brands such as Chuck Chick – Vegan Burgers, offering classic cheeseburgers, southern fried chicken burgers and classic dogs; Erpingham House serves tacos, buns, burgers and salads, most of which are gluten-free and organic; Vegan Dough Co. has created innovative and indulgent plant-based pizzas; and Papa Burty from TV personality Layne Redman has flaky, perfectly spiced Jamaican patties.
Floozie Cookies will also appear, as well as vegan filling cookies made by pastry chef Kimberly Lin. Don’t forget to check out Holy Carrot, a British plant restaurant that offers Asian-style dishes with international influence; Evergreen Organics, Qatar’s first all-vegan cafe; and Mylk, a 100% vegan chocolate and ice cream concept, It contains natural, preservatives, additives, stabilizers, sweeteners, soy and gluten-free snacks.
What needs no introduction is Veg’d by Matthew Kenney. Taste the nutritious food and tonic drinks provided by the world-renowned plant-based Michelin-star chef Matthew Kenney.
The Vegan Food Festival will be held at the Festival Garden on Wadi Avenue in Jubilee Park near the Malaysia Pavilion.
