Solcasa brings a Mediterranean flavour to downtown Mirdiff

Mirdiff city centre is now home to Majid Al Futtaim’s new Mediterranean dining destination and largest independent restaurant, Solcasa

Majid Al Futtaim, a leading shopping centre, community, retail and leisure pioneer in the Middle East, Africa and Asia, has opened Solcasa in the heart of Mirdiff, launching the latest gastronomic venture in the country.

The Mediterranean restaurant marks Majid Al Futtaim’s largest independent restaurant, and just a few weeks ago it launched its first hybrid digital food concept, Halla Food, in downtown Me’aisem.

Solcasa recreates the ambience of a Mediterranean courtyard, accommodating up to 90 diners, away from the hustle and bustle of a shopping mall.

The sharing concept restaurant offers ingredient-driven dishes with an emphasis on locally sourced seasonal produce. The menu celebrates the different flavours of the Mediterranean, with specialties including artichoke and scallion pie, beef bourguignon, seafood paella and Tuscan steak.

Decadent desserts are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth, like sticky date pudding and chocolate peanut butter fudge, served with specialty coffee.

Diners will be pleased to know that Solcasa’s menu will be adjusted throughout the year to incorporate seasonal ingredients and products from local suppliers, including Hada honey, Mirzam chocolatiers, healthy snacks and Italian dairy products.

Solcasa is located next to the main entrance on the ground floor of Mirdif in the city centre.

Hours of operation are Monday-Thursday 8am-11pm, Friday-Sunday 8am-12pm. Visit Instagram.
