We have movie night every Friday and we are always looking for evening snacks and treats. We eat popcorn a lot, but like to add a little zing with candy or chocolate (like White Chocolate M&M Popcorn or Caramel Marshmallow Popcorn).

Since it’s the time of year when fall candy is abundant, we decided to try the Halloween Pumpkin Snack Mix Popcorn, Cereal, Nuts, and Candy! We were all very pleased with how delicious it was.

Combining all the grains, sweets and nuts, you’ll want to try this recipe – it’s just the right amount of sweet and savory!

Make a Pumpkin Snack Mix

Prepare. Line a large pan with parchment paper.

Popcorn. Combine popcorn, cereal, and peanuts in a bowl. Spread evenly on a parchment-lined pan.

Sauce. In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, syrup and butter. Bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla and baking soda. Stir until well combined. Pour over popcorn mixture and mix well with a spoon.

bake. Bake at 250 degrees for 15 minutes. Remove and stir. Bake for another 10 minutes. calm down.

For this recipe you just need 4 cups popcorn. A mini-size bag holds about 4 ½ cups. It’s perfect for this recipe. If you’re making a double or triple batch, a regular-sized bag of popcorn will yield 12-13 cups of popcorn. If you want to pop your own corn, you’ll need a large â…› cup of corn kernels.
