Store + advance

Make the dough in advance: You can make dough in advance and store it in the refrigerator or freezer.

  • Refrigerator: Roll the dough into a log and wrap it tightly with plastic wrap. It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
  • Freezer: You can freeze the dough into log form (wrap it in plastic and then wrap the skin in aluminum foil), or you can form dough balls. If you are making dough for baking, you need to quickly freeze them on the baking sheet and transfer them to the freezer Ziploc. Freeze the dough for up to 3 months. Let the dough thaw slightly before baking.

Store: Store the cooled biscuits in an airtight container for 4-5 days. Stick a slice of white bread in a container to help keep the biscuits soft and chewy. You can also freeze baked biscuits for up to 3 months.
