A delicious and rich cake with a delicious crust and creamy batter, buttery and addictive! Neiman Marcus cake is the perfect dessert for any occasion.
We love such simple and delicious cakes! Other favorites include our simple chocolate cake and white Texas pancakes.
Why is it called Niman Marcus Cake?
Honestly, no one really knows why. For some people, they are called Texas gold bars, or even slimy butter cakes. We do have slimy butter cakes on our website. Although they are similar, Neiman Marcus cakes are different.
Today’s cakes have pecans, coconuts, and a bottom layer that is more like a cake/bar (hence sometimes called “Neiman Marcus Bar”). Fortunately, it is delicious, as delicious as our slimy butter cake.
If you want to make a simple rich and decadent dessert-this is a try! But don’t say we didn’t warn you that it is addictive!
