I love eating fresh cherries, I love the pictures and prints of the cherries (they are so delightful), and I love cherry-flavored things. I know, I know, maraschnio cherries are full of sugar and lose some of their real flavor, but they’re great in desserts and drinks!

The frosting is the “cherry on top” because it has something extra. I added one of my favorites – almond extract! Cherries and almonds are the perfect match. We’ve been trying a lot of fruit cakes lately, but this one has to be my favorite. My second favorite is fruit pizza – so delicious! ! If you love cherries, then you must try this dessert. Amazing!
How to Make Cherry Cake
Prepare. Preheat oven to 350.
