School is almost here! ! are you ready? ? I’m slowly getting ready for those crazy days waiting! We cook our own lunches at home 99% of the time, so I’m ready. Just last week I bought new lunchboxes for the kids and I’ve been thinking about lunchbox food ideas too!

In fact, I’ve partnered with Horizon Organic to provide resources to help parents guide their children to make healthy choices as we head back to the school year. Today, I’ll be focusing on lunch boxes.

Yes – we’re talking about healthy food ideas today, and I’ve compiled not only a great list for you, but also some printable lunchbox notes and jokes kids will love. I mean, eat healthy and like a little joke?what kid Will not Want that? !

There are many different things you can pack for your child’s lunch. I think it’s good to change it so they don’t get bored and make sure there are plenty of healthy items to keep them energized and happy throughout the day. I compiled this list using some of the foods we use when packing our lunches. Do your best, there are so many ideas, hope your kids like more than half of them! 😉

This is very close to our lunch at home. Honestly, the kids never complained! They love sandwiches, some healthy snacks, and maybe a little snack, and they’re ready! I also make sure to make a nice cold drink (especially how hot it is in Houston!)

We can’t forget the printable lunch notes and jokes! !
