Creamy turkey and noodles easy leftover turkey dish
Warm and cozy buttery turkey and noodles are a simple dish, suitable for any evening dinner, especially the day after Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving turkey was delicious on that day, but leftovers are the best! They are a great addition to delicious recipes like turkey Tetrazzini and turkey soup, and of course this creamy turkey and noodles!
Use up those Thanksgiving leftovers!
We love Thanksgiving! Not only can you spend quality time with your loved ones, but there are also a lot of food on this day.
From turkey to mashed potatoes and everything in between, this is a day of eating…eating…and then eating. In fact, there are usually so many leftovers that we send home full of Tupperware for a day’s feast.
We always seem to be the turkey. With this in mind, I want to share a recipe that is perfect for post-Thanksgiving, which can help consume some delicious turkey.
It is very easy to make and is perfect for Sunday dinners a few days after Thanksgiving. The best part is that it also reheats well and can be enjoyed the next day. I mean, why not eat turkey for a few days, right? !
Make leftover turkey casserole
Prepare. Preheat the oven to 350.
spaghetti. Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package.
Vegetables + sauces. When cooking the pasta, add the butter to the large pot. Add frozen vegetables and cook until thawed. Add flour, cook and stir for 1-2 minutes. Stir in the milk and bring to a boil. Cook until thick, then add turkey, soup, sour cream, salt and pepper. Mix until fully mixed.
bake. Drain the pasta and add the sauce. Stir until fully combined, then scoop into a greased 9Ă13 pan. Put the lid on and put in the oven.
cheese. Put cheese on top and cook for 25-30 minutes. Uncover the lid and cook for another 10-15 minutes. Enjoy while it’s hot!
Most vegetables work well in this dish, I think we have to try broccoli or asparagus next time. đ
Store information
Shop The remaining pasta is stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-4 days. If needed, you can reheat single servings in the microwave and reheat larger portions in the oven or stove.
This is the perfect casserole for neighbors!If you want to prepare this casserole and freeze Before baking, I recommend preparing it in a disposable aluminum foil pan. Then cover with a lid or foil and put in the refrigerator. This should last about 2-3 months.
Make sure to write the baking information and date on the lid. You can also freeze it after baking and reheat it in the oven until heated!
