Fortune 50 unveils 2022 51-100 list with two new entries from UAE

The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, sponsored by S. Pellegrino & Acqua Panna, today announced the list of restaurants ranked 51 to 100 ahead of the annual awards ceremony in London on Monday 18 July.

The annual list is created by a gender-balanced voting panel of 1,080 independent authorities in the food world, from renowned international chefs and food journalists to traveling restaurateurs. The expanded ranking follows the same voting process as the World’s 50 Best Restaurants, highlighting hotel amenities around the world.

The 51-100 list includes 20 new entries from 15 different cities. The list includes restaurants in 22 locations on six continents. 14 in Asia, 13 in Europe, 11 in North America, 2 in the Middle East, 2 in Africa, 1 in Oceania, and 7 in South America.

A few new regions have this year’s extended rankings, including the UAE, with two new entries: Trèsind Studio (57th) and Orfali Bros Bistro (87th), both in Dubai.

The 2022 World’s 50 Best Restaurants will be announced live on Monday 18 July at the awards ceremony in London, which will also be streamed live on the 50 Best Facebook and YouTube channels via the link here. The announcement of the shortlist and individual awards can be made through 50 Best social media channels, live from 11.30pm (UAE time).
