Chocolate Chip Cookie Bites mini treats

Hello everyone! You know by now, I’m a total freak when it comes to anything related to chocolate chip cookies. On any given day, I can eat 20 cookies without blinking!

I have a delicious mini version called Chocolate Chip Cookies for you to enjoy. The original recipe called for store-bought Nestle dough. I’m sure that would be delicious too, but we decided to use one of our favorite made-from-scratch recipes.

Making Chocolate Chip Cookie Cups

dough. Prepare your favorite cookie dough according to the directions.

scoop. Place 1 scoop of dough into 24 greased mini muffin cups. Press along the bottom and sides to make a cup.

Chocolate filling. Once the cookies have cooled, melt the chocolate chips in a small saucepan on the lowest heat, stirring constantly. Be sure not to overheat the chocolate. Once melted and smooth, place in a plastic bag. Cut a corner and squeeze the chocolate into each cup.

Tips + Variations

This recipe is for mini chocolate chip cookies, but you can easily use Regular size muffin tin Make a larger cookie cup. Press two scoops of dough evenly into each greased muffin point. Set oven to 325ÂşF and bake for 20-25 minutes or until done. If desired, press the center while the cookies are hot. Let them cool before removing them from the pan and add a delicious chocolate or other sweet treat.

  • Melt in microwave, stirring after every 30 seconds.

    • Fill a small pot 2/3 full with water, then place a bowl full of chocolate on the water without letting it touch it. Keep the water boiling and keep stirring the chocolate until it is completely melted.

shop Cookie cups come in airtight containers or bags. They will keep at room temperature for 5-7 days.

freeze Keeps 1-2 months in an airtight container or Ziploc bag.
