Are you ready for Halloween? This week we eliminated Halloween decorations and simplified the seasonal Halloween recipes, including this Halloween puppy food!
I tried to achieve a “black and white” effect by using half of the white chocolate and the other half of the milk chocolate.
Of course, we added candy corn (because candy corn is the ultimate Halloween candy in my opinion). In order to increase the festive atmosphere, I put it in this bowl together with the skeleton. I bought these two models from Wal-Mart for $5!
I found a similar skeleton on the dollar tree. However, you are free to use any Halloween decorations on hand to be creative. This puppy is perfect for a Halloween party!
Making Halloween puppy food
cereals. Divide the oatmeal in half, put 4.5 cups in one bowl, and 4.5 cups in the other bowl. Set aside.
Sauce. In a saucepan, heat white chocolate chips, 1/4 cup peanut butter, and 1/4 cup butter or margarine. Stir frequently until melted. Add ½ teaspoon. vanilla.
coat. Remove from the heat and pour it on one of the bowls of oatmeal until it is evenly spread. Pour into a gallon bag containing Âľ cups of powdered sugar. Seal the bag and shake it until it is packed.
repeat. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the chocolate Chex.
Combine + enjoy! Pour white chocolate and milk chocolate Chex into a bowl. Add corn sugar and mix well. Store in an airtight container.
Variety
We wanted the white and brown chocolate chunks to sparkle, so we took the super simple route and only added candy corn. It is festive and delicious.if you want Add more snacks Of course you can mix. Here are some more delicious and cute ideas:

Service + storage reminder information
I like the fun of bones being buried in puppy food, but you can use any Halloween serving. Some other interesting ideas include:
- A black witch cauldron.
- Glass cookie jar with Jack O Lantern’s face on it. Use vinyl or permanent markers to add faces. You can use a magic eraser to erase the marks.
- A large plastic Halloween bowl found in a dollar store.
- Use hollow plastic pumpkin to serve.
**Important Reminder: Sometimes people call this treat Muddy Buddies or Monkey Munch instead of Puppy Chow. I even saw someone calling the Halloween version of Werewolf Week! Lol no matter what it is called, it should not be given to puppies. Chocolate is very harmful to them.
