Snowman Pancakes quick, easy + kids love them!


Adorable Christmas Snowman Pancakes are a kids’ favorite holiday breakfast. They’re simple and great to enjoy all winter long.

These adorable snowman pancakes are perfect for any cold winter morning. French toast muffins, eggnog French toast or German pancakes also make for the perfect breakfast idea for the holidays!

Festive Snowman Pancakes

We recently made cute snowman pancakes because the kids absolutely loved our Christmas pancakes. Not surprising, but they were a success!

You can make these on Christmas morning or any day in December. In fact, these are perfect for January and February too! ! It’s a fun way to decorate a classic breakfast dish. 😉

I really think your kids will love these snowman pancakes. They are simple. They are delicious. The whole family will think they are really good. If your kids are picky and love breakfast, this is perfect for dinner, but I can’t wait to have it on Christmas morning! !

Just flip and decorate!

Pancake. Start by making round pancakes of whatever size you want. We do about 4-5 inches wide.

bacon. Fold the bacon into an “L” shape to make a scarf.

Decorate. Lay two pancakes on a plate, one overlapping a little, and add a dollop of bacon to the scarf. Topped with powdered donut heads. Add mini chocolate chips for eyes and smile. Add mini orange M&Ms for the nose and chocolate chips for the buttons. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Top with syrup and enjoy!

bacon: My favorite way to make bacon is to use it in oven recipes.

Pancake Base: I took a shortcut and used a pancake mix, but you can easily use your favorite pancake recipes like our easy pancake recipe.

Serve Serve with some yummy buttermilk syrup and/or homemade whipped cream, maybe even a delicious side of these:

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/2 cups buttermilk
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 cup Christmas sprinkles, plus more for toppings
  • whipped cream
  • strawberries with the top cut off
  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients – flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Mix with a whisk until completely combined.

  • Add milk, oil, eggs and vanilla to dry ingredients and whisk to combine. Finally, stir in the vanilla and sprinkle.

  • On a hot, greased baking sheet, spoon the batter into the 4″ pancakes. Once the cake starts to bubble, it’s time to flip. The pancakes are golden brown on all sides.

  • Topped with whipped cream and an upside-down strawberry with a bit of whipped cream on top like a Santa hat.
