New Zealand-based Fix & Fogg makes U.S. debut New Zealand-based Fix & Fogg, a peanut butter company, opened its first United States store at 1731 Westheimer Road. The brand was initially available to American consumers through Amazon.

The Fix & Fogg name comes from two characters in the classic 1873 adventure novel, Around the World in 80 Days by Jules Verne: Phileas Fogg and Detective Fix. Like the story, the idea of embarking on a great journey, taking risks and trying new things resonated with this nut butter business and you can get a taste for it in their unusual varieties.
