Savory spreads to eat with rice cakes

  1. Grilled guacamole. Guacamole is delicious on its own, but this grilled guacamole recipe takes it to a whole new level.
  2. Reuben spread. Reuben spread on top of a rice cake is the perfect way to make a lighter version of the classic Reuben sandwich.
  3. Blue cheese herb spread.
  4. Feta-yogurt spread.
  5. Roasted red pepper hummus.

Prepare the rice cake for ddeokguk (rice cake soup):

  • Cut it into 2 equal pieces, then roll each piece out into two 10 inch long cylinder shaped rice cakes.
  • Let them cool at room temperature for several hours, then slice diagonally into thin discs.
  • Use right away, or put in a plastic bag and freeze for later use.
  • Plain. Just eat it plain.
  • Rice Cake + Peanut Butter.
  • Top it with Almond Butter. My current almond butter obsession is the Justin’s Vanilla.
  • Spice It. Try a rice cake and nut butter, then sprinkle the top with cinnamon.
  • Fruit. Add sliced bananas to the top of a rice cake with nut butter.
  • Dried Fruit, Savory.
  • Autumn Feels.
  • Hummus.
  • Tuna.
  • PBJ.
