McCafe in Australia is treated as its own, separate cafe within the restaurant. About one or two trained baristas manage the space, which has its own extensive and drool-worthy menu. Remember when I said that Aussies take their coffee very seriously? McCafe menu is proof.
Manufactured and distributed in partnership with Kraft Foods, the coffee is available in prepackaged bags and K-Cups. In December 2015, McDonald’s Canada opened its first standalone McCafe store in Toronto Union Station ‘s newly built York concourse area. On March 20, 2018, the first McCafĂ© in Minsk, Belarus, was opened.
The survey, by ratings company Canstar Blue, compared McCafé to other big Aussie chains, such as The Coffee Club, Gloria Jeans and Michel’s, for overall satisfaction and price. The fast-food giant had previously been criticised for the standard of its coffee and had overhauled the offering by training baristas and introducing better bean blends.

After eating it in Australia, I’m not sure I’ll ever be satisfied with it anywhere else. The sausage patty doesn’t taste as salty and the egg doesn’t taste fake, which makes the entire sandwich more enjoyable to eat.
