How Much Is Orbitz Drink Worth?
The texture was unique and though sales were poor initially, a cult following had soon developed. Unfortunately, the manufacturer is not producing Orbitz soft drink anymore, so bottles of this funky drink are not as easy to find as, say, Coca-Cola or Pepsi. Luckily there are still several places to purchase Orbitz. Can you buy Orbitz Drink Locally?
Orbitz now has collectors paying upwards of $30 for a single, unopened bottle. Whole cases can easily run over $100, and the hype was loud enough that in 2013 Clearly Canadian Beverage Company announced they would be releasing a limited edition run of Orbitz, with the potential for it to become an annual treat.
Before, during, and two years after launching the site, the company faced antitrust criticism since its creators controlled 75% of U. S. air travel. The United States Department of Transportation saw no antitrust issues with the launch of the Orbitz website.
It was 1996 when Orbitz, the lava lamp of soft drinks, streaked through the galaxy and onto shelves. It was the newest product by Clearly Canadian Beverage Corporation, the company that came on the scene in 1988 with Clearly Canadian flavored sparkling water.
Can I buy Orbitz on eBay.com?
Yes, in fact eBay seems to be the best place to find this elusive soft drink. There are some eBay users who have been hanging onto their bottles of Orbitz since production ceased in 1997. At the time of writing, there are eight listings of various flavors, some offering multiple unopened bottles of this hard to find soda.
Amazon.com does offer bottles of Orbitz soft drink, but they are currently out of stock. You can request that they email you when the item becomes available again. These drinks are very difficult to come by; so it is unclear when they will be back in stock here at amazon.com.
There are, unfortunately, no stores that specialize in Orbitz drinks. It would be very difficult to maintain an inventory of a product that has not been produced for two decades. Clearly Canadian, the manufacturer, is currently researching ways to bring this popular beverage back, so keep an eye out for any developments with that.

Due to its un-drinkable-ness, Orbitz was discontinued within a year of its release. Orbitz, the travel company, bought the website domain name, and by 1998, it seemed as though the last trace of the Orbitz soft drink had been wiped from the face of the Earth.
The Orbitz technique was twofold: First, the balls had a nearly equal density to the surrounding liquid, allowing them to seemingly defy gravity; and second, they were kept in place by a substance called Gellan Gum, which mimicked the connective abilities of a spider web. I’m not kidding.
