The Pointe is the iconic seaside destination on Palm Jumeirah and is home to the recently opened Mura Italian restaurant. The name Murano is a reflection on Murano’s fascinating art of glassmaking-Murano is a series of islands in the Venetian Lagoon in northern Italy.
As soon as you step into the environment, you will be immediately attracted by the lemon trees in every corner. The picturesque, charming space takes you through an alley and up the stairs to the dining area. Here, the dramatic decoration makes your eyes shine, surrounded by luxurious lemon groves.
The restaurant offers indoor seating, private dining space and a terrace. Due to the pleasant weather, we opted for outdoor dining and sat on the Mediterranean-style outdoor terrace facing the picturesque palm fountain.
Highlights:
The menu is simple and consists of eight parts: appetizers, salads, pizza, risotto, Kahn and Pollame (meat and poultry), Pesce (fish), Sides, and finally dessert. With the recommendation of the restaurant chef and waiter, our dining experience was quickly arranged.
A three-cheese arancini, stuffed with scamozah, white and red cheddar cheese, topped with Neapolitan sauce, and topped with grated Parmesan cheese, provided a rustic start to our night. This is followed by a delightful Burrata mozzarella cheese salad with cherry tomatoes and a little extra virgin olive oil. Truffle pizza with fresh truffles, cream sauce, and mozzarella cheese; then a special mushroom, cheese and truffle wrapped in ravioli appeared. We were told that mushroom ravioli is a new addition to the menu, and we support this decision. Looking forward to tasting plenty of pasta in the rich chicken broth.
The breathtaking palm fountain swaying with cheerful tunes, if you choose to dine on the terrace, you can enjoy it. We spend time relaxing and enjoying the enchanting night and beautiful views. When dessert appeared at the end of our meal, we could not refuse. Lemon, a refreshing citrus-flavored sweet, is a feast for vision and taste buds. Look forward to light lemon mousse, lemon compote, cookie crumbs and lemon chocolate, which resemble real lemons—art on the plate.

Mura serves modern Italian cuisine in an Instaworthy environment. The restaurant is perfect for sunset meetings or romantic dates.
