The vibrant lifestyle destination Bluewaters Island is home to the newly opened Oriental restaurant and lounge SHI, offering authentic and innovative Chinese food that you cannot miss. SHI is located on the corner of the magnificent Ain Dubai. It offers a two-story environment with an open terrace, offering stunning views of the Arabian Gulf, JBR, Dubai Marina, and Harry in the distance when the weather is clear. Fata (Burj Khalifa).

SHI is led by chef Li Yuan Hui, who was the helm of Hakkasan Mumbai and Qatar, and became the first Chinese food on the island to provide high-end cuisine. We walked into an environment characterized by soft and complex lighting, eclectic decoration, charming art and luxurious environment, full of relaxed and luxurious atmosphere. The breeze beckoned, we decided to dine al fresco, the dining table was in a great location, with amazing sights and views of Al Ain Dubai.

The menu includes a variety of different dishes, including soups, salads, appetizers, dim sum, noodles, and even nigiri sushi and sashimi.

A steaming bowl of hot and sour soup with shredded chicken, Shimen mushroom and prawns was a good start for our meal. Then we turned our attention to the crispy duck salad, each bite brings a pleasant flavor and texture. Look forward to pomegranates, pine nuts, thinly sliced ​​radishes and oranges, plus tangy fresh vegetables and crispy duck meat.

It’s time to take a break. We chose two Asian-inspired drinks, which caught our attention on the creative mix menu. Pixiu – Winged Lion has a bittersweet taste, which is very suitable for people who like to drink stronger wine; while Shi Matched is infused with honey matcha syrup and lemon juice, which is refreshing.

If you are a sushi and sashimi lover, you can choose from a range of options on the menu, including a plate of maguro (tuna) sake (salmon) sashimi, and maki rolls with crispy shrimp and homemade soy sauce. Our table was filled with cream cheese sweet corn dumplings, topped with chili garlic and ginger vinegar sauce; and grilled Chilean sea bass in honey sauce. We paired slightly smoked seafood with Wok organic broccoli, cooked to perfection, soft and dramatic table side flavor.

To end our meal, we shared the too beautiful signature cheesecake pearl egg and raw cheesecake, chopped butter, seasonal fruits and mixed berries, topped with fruit caviar, edible flowers and gold flakes.
