Simple and delicious party food
We like food, especially when most of our families get together and organize parties around the menu. In almost all activities, we like appetizers. This is mainly because they are simple, delicious and everyone likes them.
Today, we want to share the recipe for jalapeno fillings-they have become one of our favorite appetizers, which reminded us when we made them last week and swallowed them in about 2 minutes.
With a delicious mixture of sausage and cream cheese, these shelled peppers become the perfect little food to fill and enjoy (it’s in our jalapeno sauce.)
Because the peppers are sown in this recipe, there is not much spice – unless you use spicy sausage or heat it in a cream cheese mixture, which is possible. We think they are as perfect as using pork sausages.
How to make stuffed jalapeno
Let us first say that the combination of sausage and cream cheese is better than anyone imagined. In fact, we really like this combination and we have used it in several recipes, including Crescent Sausage Bites and Crescent Roll Sausage Bake. This is delicious!
Cook sausages. You must cook the sausage before adding cream cheese. Say it again-we like pork sausages, but if you want to add some heat to the chilies, you can also use spicy ones.
Cut the peppers. While your sausages are cooking, cut each jalapeno in half and cut lengthwise into the seeds of the pepper. Set aside.
Mix + stuff. In a medium bowl, combine the sausage, cream cheese, and Parmesan cheese and mix well. Fill each halved pepper with the sausage and cream cheese mixture and place in the baking pan.
bake. Bake at 425 degrees for about 20 minutes. Eat alone or with ranch seasoning.
Variety: This recipe is easy to change according to your favorite meat or cheese.
If you don’t like sausages too much, chicken and bacon are both useful in this recipe. In addition, if you want to change the cheese mixture, you can use your favorite cream cheese and shredded cheese as the filling.
Frying, grilling and storing
How to fry jalapenos? Frying these stuffed jalapenos will turn them into jalapeno popcorn. You can follow the instructions to make this recipe, except stop before baking.
When frying, put 1 cup of milk into the bowl and 1 cup of flour into the bowl. Dip the filled jalapenos in milk and flour, and then put them in the milk.
From there, you will dip the peppers into a bowl of breadcrumbs, making sure they are coated. Then fry in a medium-sized pan for a few minutes on each side or until it turns golden brown.
Can you bake these? Yes, you can! Just follow the instructions to make stuffed peppers and place them on the grill. Cover the pan and roast the peppers for about 8 minutes, or until the bottom of the peppers is charred and the cheese mixture is slightly browned.
How to store stuffed jalapeno? We seldom eat these leftover sausages filled with jalapenos, but if we do, we will put them in an airtight container and put them in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Reheat in the microwave or in the oven at low temperature.
We love this recipe and can’t wait to eat it again. They are very simple and always popular!
