Strawberry Cookies-with white chocolate chips (+video)

These quick and easy strawberry cookies are perfectly flavored with a jelly mixture and filled with sweet white chocolate chips.

These biscuits are made using a mixture of jelly and instant pudding, similar to our Oreo pudding biscuits. It adds the perfect flavor and chewy consistency!

Made with jelly mix!

I like to find new delicious cookie recipes to try. I often turn to Pinterest to find new ones and am surprised by all the cookie mixes that people make.

I recently found a recipe for cherry white chocolate pudding cookies…sounds great, right? I knew I had to try it, and decided to change it a bit and make a strawberry biscuit version.

Let me tell you-pure heaven! The jelly and pudding mixture in the recipe is the perfect addition to make the cookies so addictive and chewy! White chocolate chips are the best choice to add with these biscuits because they also add a flavor that is not too strong compared to the flavor of the jelly used.

Because we like strawberries so much, we will definitely make these strawberries more frequently, but we may also need to try the original cherry version.

How to make them!

Prepare. Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Dough. Cream butter, sugar and jelly together. Add eggs and vanilla and mix well. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, pudding mixture, baking soda, and salt. Slowly add to the butter mixture. Stir well. Stir in white chocolate chips.

bake. Scoop it onto a greased baking pan. Bake for 9-11 minutes.

Change it

pudding: If you don’t want to use white chocolate pudding, you can use vanilla instant pudding or even instant cream cheese pudding. The only difference is the taste of the cookies. In any case, make sure you buy instant pudding and use only the dry powder in the biscuits. Don’t make it into pudding.

Change taste Use another flavor such as raspberry or cherry instead of strawberry jelly powder. Just like pudding, you don’t just use jelly powder to make jelly. I did use the JELL-O brand, not the generic version.

Add icing sugar: If you want to add frosting on top, I suggest we strawberry frosting. Some other options include: berry cream, cream cheese, vanilla and even marshmallow frosting.

Storage tips

To keep these strawberry white chocolate cookies soft for as long as possible storage In a closed container. Put a piece of white bread in the container with the biscuits. After storing properly, cookies can be stored for about one week.

Can I freeze this dough for later use? You should be able to freeze this dough. You can roll it into a log and freeze it completely, or you can roll it into a single ball to freeze and bake easily later.

  • Log: After rolling the dough into a log shape, wrap it with plastic film, and then wrap it with foil. Label and freeze for 1-2 months.
  • Dough balls: Make the dough into balls, put them all on the baking sheet, and then put the baking sheet in the refrigerator. Once the dough balls are frozen, transfer them to a freezer-safe airtight container. Freeze for 1-2 months.
