I warned you a few weeks ago that I had Halloween on my mind and wanted to share another fun Halloween treat idea with you today.

These are skull pudding cups. They can be a Sunday treat, party dessert or just for fun. We made ours for family night and the kids loved them. They thought they were funny and I had to agree. They are perfect for Halloween.

These bad boys only took a few minutes to piece together and I love how they turned out. They are also spooky, festive and delicious! If you or your kids love pudding and Halloween, then I think you’ll love these Skeleton Oreo Pudding Cups too. 🙂

How to do it

These were inspired by a skull wreath I found on my local dollar tree. There are 4 there, 0.25 each.

Skeleton preparation. I cut each skeleton and let them soak in hot water and soap first. Then I gave them a nice scrub to make sure they were clean and tidy. From there, I flexed them at their joints (not with so much force that the limbs really fell off).

Oreo. Mash up some Oreos. I used Halloween Oreos (orange filling) but you can use any (chocolate filling works great too!). I scooped a few tablespoons into the bottom of each cup.

pudding. Follow the directions on the box to make the chocolate pudding. notes. 1 large chocolate instant pudding box is perfect for 4 cups.

gather. Fill a plastic cup with a layer of Oreos, followed by the chocolate pudding, about ½ full. Plopped into the skeleton and stuffed with a little pudding and crushed Oreos. Add a mallow squash for the perfect touch!

Super cute and easy Halloween pudding cups!

Variety

Aside from being delicious, I opted to use chocolate pudding because it looked more like the dirt that left the bones hanging out. However, you can use other pudding flavors:

store information

shop Leftover pudding cups in the fridge. Remove the skeletons and cover each cup with plastic wrap. Pudding cups will last about 3 days. Note that moisture will soften the Oreos.

Another way to store leftovers is Make Oreo Pudding Soda. Mix the pudding with the Oreos, scoop the mixture into popsicle molds, and freeze until solid. Note: Remove or crush large Oreos.
