I’m always looking for simple dinner ideas that the whole family will love, and always have good luck with pasta recipes. From pasta to spaghetti, I like to add one of these pasta recipes to my weekly menu plan because they are usually simple and all my kids will eat it.

This recipe is inspired by the creamy macaroni recipe that we make at least once a month. I love tortellini and tried to make my kids love it, so I decided to use tortellini noodles in this recipe and it turned out to be very popular!

This cheese-garlic pasta is now a new dinner recipe that kids love! Since there are too many types of tortillas (meat stuffed, cheese stuffed, etc.), I hope we can try other versions too.

How to make

Tortellini. A good rule of thumb for the ratio of water to tortellini is to add 1 quart of water for every 4 ounces of pasta. Knowing this, you will boil the water and season it with salt (if you like). Stir the tortellini gently and cook for 5-6 minutes, or until the noodles are soft. Drain and set aside until the sauce is ready.

Sauce. Just melt the butter in a pan, add garlic, fry for one minute, then add flour, and cook for another minute. Add the milk and chicken broth and stir until it boils and thickens. Add the Parmesan cheese, stir until the cheese is completely melted, and voila!

Combine and serve. Add your pasta (cheese tortellini in this example) to the sauce, season with a little salt and pepper, and sprinkle with some fresh parsley. That’s it! The easiest pasta recipe, ready in 20 minutes!
