Located within the prestigious Al Matal complex, opposite Al Khobar’s futuristic waterfront, NOZOMI Al Khobar offers an unforgettable and exclusive social dining experience that easily redefines the concept of Japanese dining in the city and beyond.
Founded in Knightsbridge, London in 2004 by restaurateur Marios George and owned by the Cavadore Group, NOZOMI has grown into a world-renowned culinary institution with a global reputation. Cavadore Group has partnered with Al Moajil Hospitality to bring the restaurant’s prominent new location to the Kingdom, run and owned by Chairman Mohammed Saad Al Moajil and led by CEO Abdulaziz Al Moajil; with NOZOMI, Hellenika and Belgravian launching in late 2021 Al Khobar opens, ushering in a new era of gastronomy in the region.
The brand’s Al Khobar location showcases NOZOMI’s innovative food concept, offering a location-specific a la carte menu that subtly adapts Japanese cuisine to local tastes, while preserving the iconic gastronomic traditions of Japanese dining.

Not-to-be-missed menu highlights include O toro, fatty belly tuna sashimi; marinated amberjack sashimi with fresh jalapeño salsa and chili orange sauce; spider roll, kimchi cream crab, flying fish mayo burrito; 9+ grade wagyu beef , served with orange truffle sauce and homemade pickles; black cod with miso and pickled; mushroom takikomi – gohan, rice with truffle mushroom sauce and dried basil; yuzu pavlova, crispy meringue with yuzu cream and fresh berries ; and NOZOMI Tiramisu.
