Despite once having hundreds of stores nationwide, Dunkin’ Donuts and its market share all but vanished from Canada by the turn of the century. In the late 1990s to early 2000s, the chain began disappearing from all regions of Canada, with its last foothold in the province of Quebec.
Dunkin’ Donuts have only started expanding into CA in the last 10 years, There are many stores in the suburbs surrounding SF but compared to the East Coast, they are pretty much invisible and since only Easterns grew up with them, that’s pretty much their market.
Just about everyone in Los Angeles considers Santa Monica Los Angeles.. they have 7 Dunkin donuts in total in Los Angeles. Including at LAX. Who told you there was no Dunkin donuts?
