What Is The Least Ordered Thing At Taco Bell?

So how did I track down every Taco Bell menu item? Well, it wasn’t that hard. A spokesperson for the company sent over a photo of the latest menu (shown above), which served as my guide. Just note that this ranking does not include Taco Bell’s breakfast menu options (at least, not yet).

That email doesn’t look right. Whether you like to admit it or not, Taco Bell is DANG good and endlessly satisfying to your tastebuds and to your wallet. Having ridden shotgun to many a Taco Bell fanatic and become one along the way myself, these are some of the absolute best items on the menu.

Taco Bell may not be one of the most popular fast food chains in the United States, but that doesn’t mean it’s lacking a following. The first location of the quick-service chain serving Mexican-inspired cuisine opened its doors in 1962, and since then, it’s grown to more than 7,000 locations and 350 franchises across the world.

All 39 Taco Bell Menu Items, Painstakingly Ranked. 1 39. Black Bean Burrito. It’s just OK enough to be forgettable. It’s like the Mexican fast-food equivalent of How I Met Your Mother. I can’t imagine 2 38. Chips and Nacho Cheese Sauce. 3 37. Chips and Pico de Gallo. 4 36. Chips and Guacamole. 5 35. Cinnabon Delights. More items

This taco is essentially the same as the soft taco, with the exception of a harder tortilla and ground beef instead of chicken. Comprising of just 310 milligrams of sodium, don’t be afraid to order two!

It’s a soft taco filled with refried beans that encompasses a hardshell taco filled with beef, sour cream, and cheese. Rizzo says that you’ll want to avoid ordering this taco if you want to have more than one.

On a positive note though, this taco offers 13 grams of protein, so maybe you’ll only need one to satisfy those lunchtime cravings.

What exactly is in this five-layer burrito? Nacho cheese, seasoned beef, beans, shredded cheese, and sour cream. With that lineup of ingredients, it’s no wonder this menu item made the naughty list. Opt for one of the healthier burritos below instead to avoid feeling sluggish midday.

Rizzo says that this quesadilla-turned-burrito should not be high on your list of top orders though. “The calories are a little higher than I would suggest in one meal, but the saturated fat and sodium are definitely too high for one burrito,” she explains.

Just as bad as the French fry version of the BellGrande is the one with actual nachos. But at least with this menu item, you save about 100 milligrams of sodium and get 6 grams more protein. Still, if you’re ordering this as a side, consider splitting this among two others to cut back on carbs, sodium, and calories.

Taco Bell’s Mexican Pizza also ranks as one of the unhealthier specialty options. While the pizza form looks cute, it doesn’t provide any nutritional value other than protein. Skip out on this “pizza” and opt for one of the healthier items below!

What is taco bell?

Taco Bell is the kind of place you go to order a ton of different menu items to mix and match. Unless you get one of the bigger burritos, one item usually isn’t enough. Therefore, if you want to, you can sample a variety of flavors when you decide to eat here. If you’re looking for a side item, you may come across the Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes. This kind of seems like a random menu item because you wouldn’t normally see a side of potatoes like this at a Mexican restaurant. But we can kind of get on board.

We appreciate Taco Bell putting something sweet on its menu because sometimes you want a sweet treat after a big lunch or dinner to end your meal on the right foot. However, if you’re thinking about ordering the Cinnamon Twists, you may want to rethink your fast food strategy.

According to the Taco Bell website, “Not often does a food innovation come along that completely transforms the way we eat, yet the Cheesy Gordita Crunch has become a lasting staple of our personality as Taco Bell. It’s a privilege to witness a culinary phenomenon of this magnitude during our tiny slice of life on this earth.” Wow, that’s intense. But really, when you first taste the Cheesy Gordita Crunch, you’ll definitely get what all the hype is about.

But it’s missing that dry steak, and in its place is juicy chicken. While the steak at Taco Bell may not be great, you know you’re going to get something good with the chicken.

We just have to say from the start that one of the things we love about Taco Bell is the fact that there are so many different vegetarian options available. This was even true before a lot of other fast food joints started using meat replacements like the Impossible burger. So, we don’t want to be hard on their veggie choices. But someone has to say it: the Bean Burrito is just not that good. It’s about as basic as you can get. It’s got beans, cheese, red sauce, and onion — and that’s it.

Taco Bell wasn’t always open for breakfast, so it’s impressive that they have such a good selection of items that you can eat in the morning. As we already mentioned, the Cinnabon Delights probably aren’t the best way to start off your day unless you want to have a sugar crash by 11 a.m.

Don’t worry, though — there’s another dessert item on the menu that you can check out: the Cinnabon Delights. While, yes, they are ranked higher than the Cinnamon Twists, that doesn’t mean Taco Bell knocked it out of the park.

Fiesta Taco Salad. Taco Bell. We know; if it’s a salad, it’s healthy. And that should be true, but it isn’t with this taco salad on the Taco Bell menu. It has 760 calories, 39 grams of fat, and 1,330 milligrams of sodium. And again, that’s before you add any extras like guacamole or a creamy sauce.

Taco Bell. We all know that anything that uses the phrase “triple-double” is going all in, so it‘s not likely to be the healthiest thing on the menu. You get double layers of ground beef and nacho cheese sauce, plus a tostada shell, all wrapped up in a flour tortilla.

T aco Bell is known for its crazy and inexpensive Mexican food (think Doritos Locos Taco and the Dollar Cravings menu), but it’s actually one of the healthiest fast food chains out there. You can even order many items “Fresco style” which replaces the dairy-based sauces and cheese with pico de gallo, making the food lower calorie and lower fat.

If being health conscious is your goal, you can definitely “Live Mas” at the California-based fast food chain, as long as you don’t eat these seven things on the Taco Bell menu. These menu items are the worst for you in terms of calories, fat, and sodium, so skip them at the drive-thru if you want to eat healthy.
