Trader Joe’s ube ice cream is back. On the heels of announcements of Halo Top Fudge Pops and Lays Cool Ranch Dorito Chips, Trader Joe’s is bringing back one of its most iconic snacks: Ube Ice Cream. Instagram account Trader Joe’s List reposted an image from a private Instagram user who spotted the purple-hued ice cream in the wild.

Ube has long been used as an ingredient in Southeast Asian desserts, and now it is making its way onto Trader Joe’s shelves in what the brand itself has called the “not-to-be-missed flavor of the summer,” via Trader Joe’s. Ube is back on Trader Joe’s shelves, this time in the form of mini pretzels coated in an ube-flavored yogurt shell. TJ’s-watching Instagrammer @veggie_at_traderjoes posted a photo of the pretzels, sharing with followers they found the flavor to be “The perfect combo of salty and sweet.”
