coke is more international. they are everywhere in the world. its all about brand recognition. they established themselves early and no longer have to grab new markets, they just maintain them slightly. they are more aggressive when it comes to getting exclusive deals with large corporations (mcdonalds, bk, wendys, cineplex/famousplayers). ive seen a lot of places go pepsi to coke but only one place (pizza pizza) go coke to pepsi.
